Tarot History Forum

Dear all,

I received an email asking if I could identify some cards shown in a video on youtube.

I don't know this deck (Lenormand?)

Can anyone help?

Here are two screen captures from the video:

Hello Robert,
this one is for Huck, since the deck is German

I tried a few searches for the sentences on the cards and I found "l'oracle tzigane" (French) "sibilla della zingara" (Italian):

I'm in a hurry and I cannot go deeper into this right now. Sorry for being unable to help more.

I confirm that the deck seems to be the German edition of "Oracolo della Zingara", a 52 cards oracle deck (late XIX century). It has been published in different languages, so I am not sure that it was originally Italian. In the Italian version, the cards are labelled as a standard pack of French suited playing cards. The deck is similar (but not identical) to the French "Lenormand" cards and to the German Kipperkarten.

Marco,

Thank you very, very much for your help!

Cheers,
Robert
