Hi Everybody,
As soon as the current PHP threat is resolved, I will be upgrading the software that runs the forum to the latest version. I have backed up the database two ways and copied all the files. I expect it to go smoothly, but if not, I’ll be able to get us back to where we are now and take it from there. The forum may be unavailable for an hour or so while I update, and I’ll post here when it’s back.
This forum has been running since 2008, and the software is showing its age, but it’s still a good choice. I’m also working to get search engines to crawl and recommend the content on the site. 18 years of amazing discussions deserve better recommendations.
They are working on a major update to the software, but it may be months or even years before it’s ready. There are alpha versions available, but I would not run one on a live forum.
Fingers crossed, god bless, may the tarot gods be with us.
