Has forum been set to block IP addresses from Turkey? Cannot access directly at the moment, I have to go through a proxy server --

Seem to have direct access back at the moment!

Alain Bougearel reports that he is unable to access the Forum and has been for some time, either under his existing username and password or any other. I would have done this post earlier, except that I did not realize that this "support" section existed until now.

The auomatic lost or forgotten email function doesn't work (or at least it didn't last time I had a problem) -

When it happened to me I contacted a forum admin (I think it was Ross) who was able to sort it out for me

Had trouble the last few hours to access the forum.

2022 visitors yesterday, the most for one day that we have had for several months.

Maybe we are getting denial of service attacks again. Bot swarms.

Yesterday evening also had problems accessing the forum.

It was a record day, with 3419 visitors. Thus we are back to big bot activity and denial of service blockages.

In the moment it's 347.

Robert did two actions on 11 July, but was not here for 12 and 13.

I'm not sure what action he took to limit the swarming before, but if it happens again today, for a third day in a row, I'll ask him.

I've turned on "under attack" mode on Cloudflare which means we need to authenticate. Sucks, but hopefully will keep the bot attack at bay.
