I see now from an IPCS email that it is the 2020 convention that is going to be in Madrid: Sept. 25-27 at a cost of 120 Euros for members and 50 Euros for guests, to be held at the Vincci Soma Hotel. 40 Rooms are being held in reserve for members and guests at another hotel nearby (it's cheaper) until April 24, with free cancellation up to August 8. The convention is being held in conjunction with an exhibition of playing cards at the Museo de la Baraja de Madrid.

The IPCS convention is of course canceled for this year due to COVID-19. It is tentatively rescheduled for Sept 2021, same place, they say.

Indeed. The year is a write-off, as far as conventions and exhibitions go, at least ones that normally have international participation.
