Do you think is strange this "page" with that big helmet?
will be a private joke of Filippo Maria Visconti?

That is a Valletta or Cameriere (page who dresses Knights) They started from the the shoes(sabats) and dressed upwards- so the last thing on was the Helmet.
So the lad is a Helmet stand

There is a curious detail ... I didn't know a heraldic emblem of Galeazzo II Visconti: a lion with a big helmet on his head.
