Decanates and Dignities

1
Probably not the first one here to notice that column six,The Faces..., of Ptolemy's Tables of Dignities and the decan system of tarot (purportedly from "an old gypsy woman" according to a popular source) have an identical component, but here the planets' faces follow the same order as the decan wheel:

Anybody else think or maybe to use the tarot as a mnemonic device to learn astrology, in particular, horary?

My head must be thick because I am just now noticing how the faces and decanates match up, and I have been looking at these charts for quite a while! :ymblushing:

This is definitely making my memorization of the table a whole lot easier for horary readings. :ymsmug:

Part of the rationale for integrating Tarot with Kabbalah has to do with the structural parallels between the architecture of Solomon's Temple & the Marseilles pattern. The application of the decanates to the minor arcana by Crowley helps to illustrate this: http://yzygy.blogspot.com/2010/06/borro ... gs-23.html
