Andrea Vitali will start his next Tarot exposition July 2010 at this location ...

... in Turin at the river Po in the Parco Valentino in a neo-gothico castle which was build during 19th century, not very far from the city station ... a very large object with many different perspectives, if you observe it at Google maps. At Google maps is a picture gallery.

Borgo e Rocca Medioevale

So made for an international exposition 1884, which says: it's not really medieval, but "neo-gothico", as some of our Tarot cards are. But they copied with some detail other objects, between them the Castle Manta pictures.

Nonetheless it looks nice and seems to be a major touristic attraction. The whole is inside a big parc with many other attractions, between them a "castle of Valentino" from 17th century.

Galeazzo Maria Sforza's murder had become part of a short movie in combination with a video game.
Lorenzo de Medici plays a major role.

It's said to have been released 17th of November, 2 days ago.

... the full movie has 35 minutes

The name of the game: Assassin's Creed, the prolongation of another Assassin game, which is already longer on the market.

... :-) ... possibly it will stimulate the interest in renaissance on larger scale

Later added:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Assassin%27s_Creed
Sales for Assassin's Creed were unexpectedly high according to the publisher. An official press release from Ubisoft stated:

Assassin's Creed has greatly outstripped Ubisoft's sales expectations and currently ranks among the top two or three best-selling games for the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system and Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system in the vast majority of geographical regions. In less than four weeks Assassin's Creed recorded more than two and a half million units in sell-through sales worldwide, and is the fastest-selling new video game intellectual property ever in the U.S. Consequently, Ubisoft now forecasts that it will sell a minimum of five million units of the game in 2007–08 compared with its previous estimate of approximately three million.[47]

On April 16, 2009, Ubisoft revealed that the game has sold 8 million copies to date.[48]
So the earlier version had been rather successful. I'm not sure, if they involve something like Tarot ... somewhere I saw a note, that there appear pictures, from which nobody knows, who made them. The plot is embedded in a story, in which the Maya date 2012 is involved and the hero (in truth) has a modern reality. The different times are invoked "by memory".

What do you make of this dating -

"many sheets with a watermark Flower on a Stem with two Leaves (Northern Italy, circa 1465-1473), slightly later impressions with the fine shading of the figures and some details worn (the inclusion of two plates from the later S-series and the dating of the paper suggest a printing date around 1475),"

Cool! I wish I could become a regular and help him make it work. Maybe Enrique could make a periodic trip to help with the ambience?

Well, it contributes somehow to the Trionfi.com Mantegna hypothesis with Lazzarelli and Sweynheim ... though it's not "not sure evidence", as it might be a later printing or only a rough estimation. The paper date 1465-1473 does not contradict, as the paper might have been used later.
The s-series might had become involved by later addition and later binding. Would be nice to know, if the s-series paper also has the same watermark.
