Special Tarot deck

Postby michellekellyphotography on 15 Mar 2012, 15:08

I am illustrating a tarot deck which you can view at: (see http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/173 ... tion-of-be) and I’m excited about using this interaction to get advice/suggestions as I finish making the cards! I also would love feedback on the cards already made, and recommendations for good places to find folk who might be interested in the evolution of this project!!

Thank you!!!

Hi Michelle,

Welcome to the forum.

I've moved this thread to The Library as it seems the most appropriate place, those interested can follow the link you provided.

I'm not sure how much help you'll find on this forum for your project as it is a historical tarot group, most of us are interested in the history of tarot, and consequently, usually antique decks rather than modern ones.

That said, I personally like your art, and encourage you to continue to explore the development, if for nothing else than your own pleasure. I've made many cards in the past as artistic projects and find the intimacy of doing so very rewarding.

I would highly recommend you check out Aeclectic Tarot, and specifically, their deck creation sub-forum. It's a forum dedicated to discussing works in development and you'll likely find a lot of support and enthusiasm there. Here's a link: http://www.tarotforum.net/

best wishes,
robert
