I agree with everything he has written except his final conclusions :D I have come to a different conclusion.
I guess it is a case of ''who knows?" but of course I think I am right ;)

There is a link to my English site below. I also have a bilingual forum, Tarotco, somewhere in the Tarosphere. And there is my blogue in French, link above, where I have started to post in English from time to time.
All this to talk about three things:
1. The structure of the Tarot cards. It is not a three times seven variation...
2. The code in the French names of the Trumps and 'Honneurs'. Last time I checked, there were four ciphers in that code.
3. My beloved French Benedictine Medieval Theory of Tarot Origin. Abbot Suger (cir. 1081-1151) creator...

The decks used on these various sites to discuss my hypothesies are the Tarot de Marseille de Nicolas Conver by Camoin (bicentennial edition 1760-1960) and by Héron. I have also began to look at the Tarot de Marseille de François Chosson. I did some Photoshop work on the Chosson. Didn't try to change the name or the date tough...
