That's really a great photo Steve. At first I was going to ask if it wasn't the Sun, and then I realised that the time lapse is the reason the moon looks so bright. In a way, it sort of includes the essence of the sun in there as an extra, subliminal presence.

Yes, I presumed it was the effect of time lapse, and agree that it evokes the sumblinal presence of the Sun. It was used as a picture prompt for a poetry exercise over at allpoetry.com :
