Re: SURPRIZE
2YAY!
What a wonderful find Huck. I wondered what card it was when I saw the shield the other day!
Thanks!

Re: SURPRIZE
4Amazing Huck, beautiful! What a treasure to have them all.
Since you know how to retrieve these images, could you get them all and post them?
I also wonder if you could get the largest size of this image for me -
http://bodley30.bodley.ox.ac.uk:8180/lu ... 340-74-,-a
From the first woodcut edition of Petrarch's Trionfi.

6Ah, okay. It only gives "low" as a choice - is this the best there is?Huck wrote:There is a download button, right upper corner, at each "side with single picture".
Re: SURPRIZE
7not sure it'll work, but you may try to save this link :Ross G. R. Caldwell wrote:Since you know how to retrieve these images, could you get them all and post them?
bodley30.bodley.ox.ac.uk:8081/MediaManager/srvr?mediafile=/JP2K/ODLodl-14-NA/1142/oulis2007-abq-0037-0.jp2&userid=1&username=insight&resolution=7&servertype=JVA&cid=14&iid=ODLodl&vcid=NA&usergroup=EPE_Editor&profileid=68/uffff&x=0&y=0&width=6000&height=7000&level=0
add "http://" in front, and please don't use it too much as it would overload the server and that wouldn't be fair at all (I didn't put the http to prevent bots to automatically follow the link)
Re: SURPRIZE
8Thank you Huck,
these cards are beautiful!
I was particularly impressed by the Ace of Cups. I was not aware that the hand “entering” the card from one side already appeared in such early cards. Also the other figures on that card are interesting.

9Yes .. perhaps there are better views, but it seems good enough.Ross G. R. Caldwell wrote:Ah, okay. It only gives "low" as a choice - is this the best there is?Huck wrote:There is a download button, right upper corner, at each "side with single picture".
For your other question:

A greater solution is possible, if you use the enlarging way and FastStone Capture to get the details ... and if you like you can puzzle the details together ... but this starts to become "work" ...

ah, I see, that Bertrand helped alreadyand his method is superior to mine ... ... how do you find this one ...

10... ... yes, especially the ace of cups. Do you see the dog above? This has a lot of humor ... and it goes in direction to the master of the bandelore. Little small men as amusing details. White mice seen after drinking too much ... .-)marco wrote:Thank you Huck,

Perhaps a connection to the Parisian Tarot, which also has this background humor.
