(I have only a low res of the Gisaine card, due to a persistent problem with downloading from the BM.)
For high resolution images from the BM you simply register your email with them - you cannot download them, they email them to you. You only have to register the once - click on 'image services' for an image you want and it will take you through it. It is a free service.

So what Noblet had to work with was, for an image, a round tower with flames coming out of a high window, and for a label, "La Fouldre," lightning bolt. His image source did not show a lightning bolt. What was Noblet to do? He couldn't put on his card a tower on fire, copying his only image source, and label it “Lightning” from his only label source, because that label would make no sense for that image.

It may or may not be pertinent to note that both 'lightning' and 'the house of God' are linked by the theme of God's judgment, lightning as a symbol of God's judgment, and the scriptural source that 'judgment begins with the house of God' (which is also linked in with the Book of Revelations, in that it begins with judgement upon the seven churches). The name of arrow in connection with the theme of judgement also brings to mind Augustine's 'Arrow of Judgement', which begins with the exile from the Garden of Eden and the birth of death, and ends with the rising for judgement at the resurrection and the death of death; which creates a symmetry between the devil and the world, the beginning and end of the arrow of judgement, with markers of mutable time in between (star, moon, sun).
