Something goes back to earliest book printing. And to the famous Cosme Guymier, who seems to belong to the same family.

Cosme (1456 - 1501) & Jehan (1450 - c1506) were siblings, both sons of Jean I Guymier

Jean II Guymier & Guyon Guymier were sons of Jehan

Jean Guymier was one of the four main booksellers at the University of Paris where he practiced until 1486, and was bookseller-juror between 1470 to 1473.

On April 5, 1470, Hermann de Alamania, aka Stardtborn, his postman, sold Guillaume de Tourneville, canon of Angers, for 40 ecus, the velin copy of the 1462 bible, now in the National Library of Rio de Janeiro.

His wife's name was Rassine; Cosme Guymier, licentiate in law, who published the Pragmatica sanctio at Jean Petit's house in 1504, was his son. His daughter Marguerite married Jean Ier Petit; his other son Jehan was a cartier (it is possible that Jean was a cartier too, as well as bookseller) -

And the notes:
