The article "Murner" (for Thomas Murner, author of two playing card decks at begin 16th century), p. 92-100, is very long and very curious.

It starts with Murner himself, comes over Murner's playing cards to Menestrier and what Menestrier listed and then to general (personal arranged) lists of playing cards and games and also fortune telling items, things in very far distance to original theme "Murner". The whole looks "unfinished", more of a collection, that Marchand's heir Jean Nicolas Samuel Allamand presented out of the existing material as he had found it.
Nonetheless it's impressive. A lot of his objects were in the past discussed here with intensity. And there are some notes, which I don't know about. This makes the text interesting.
I didn't find the name Marchand in the local search engine, also not the name "Prosper Marchand" at AT. So that's a new name in our talkings.

He mentioned for instance a game "le labyrinth" ou "Jeu de poeme de l'Arioste", likely a sort of "game of the goose".
I was interested, but didn't find anything about it. He looks to me like "an overlooked author in matters of playing cards".
